My name is Joshua Wood, but in the world of content creation, I am known as JoshiBOI to English-speaking and Spanish-speaking audiences, but I am known as BOIboy to Japanese-speaking audiences.

I am an American musician, language learner and YouTuber, though I am not very active as the latter.

In the field of music, I primarily play the electric bass and I primarily write songs in Japanese.

In my language learning journey, I have been learning Spanish since June 15, 2008 and Japanese since September 28, 2009, and I am working on learning Brazilian Portuguese as of May 2021 as well.
